Why Safe Colorants Matter
Why Safe Colorants Matter
At Coastal Classic Creations®, we take pride in adhering to California's stringent cosmetic regulations, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards for both safety and performance. These regulations govern everything from the ingredients we use to the colorants in our products. As part of our commitment to non-toxic beauty, we choose only the safest, ethically sourced, and regulated ingredients—especially when it comes to cosmetic colorants. While we strive to provide a wide array of beautiful shades, certain vibrant or highly metallic hues may not be possible within these safe and regulated parameters. Bold colors like hot pinks or highly metallic shades often require ingredients that do not meet our clean beauty standards, so our focus is on offering shades that are both luxurious and safe. Because we do not use harmful chemicals, we believe that subtlety, sophistication, and elegance are the cornerstone of our beauty collections. Our products deliver rich, high-performance color without compromising your health or the environment.
Please note: Color variation may also occur due to factors like monitor settings, lighting, and individual skin tones, so we recommend reaching out to us for personalized shade recommendations.
Your Safe Beauty Choice
When you choose our products, you can trust that you're making a safe choice. We prioritize clean, non-toxic ingredients to ensure that our beauty products leave your skin, lips, and body feeling their best. You deserve beauty that’s both effective and safe, and we’re here to deliver that to you every day.

3. Nanotechnology in Cosmetics
Nanoparticles are extremely small particles, typically less than 100 nanometers in size. In cosmetics, nanoparticles are used in various products like sunscreens, moisturizers, and makeup to enhance their properties. While nanoparticles offer benefits, we avoid them due to potential safety concerns.
- Nanoparticles may penetrate skin more easily, causing irritation or inflammation.
- There are concerns about the long-term environmental impact of nanoparticles.
- The long-term safety of nanoparticles is still under research.
4. Ecological Impact
We use iron oxide-based inorganic dyes that have minimal environmental impact. These dyes do not contribute to water pollution and do not accumulate in the soil.
