Our Commitment to EWG
Since 2008, Coastal Classic Creations® has partnered with Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (formerly the Breast Cancer Fund) to offer safe cosmetic alternatives through the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, consistently earning low hazard ratings of 1 to 3 on the EWG Skin Deep Database. Although we have submitted all our cosmetic products to EWG, as of February 2024, they have informed us that bandwidth limitations prevent them from listing our entire cosmetic line. Regarding the EWG Verified Program, we have chosen to verify only three cosmetics due to the cost of listing all our products. Despite these challenges, our commitment to non-toxic, safe formulations remains steadfast.
Our Commitment to the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild
Since 2008, Coastal Classic Creations has been members of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild. This organization founded in 1988 serves to promote and educate the public about the cosmetics, soap, and candle industry, and monitoring and maintaining the highest code of the ethical production of these products for the benefit of the consumer.
